Este farol ferroviario de mano, datado entre el siglo XIX y principios del XX, es una pieza histórica que refleja la ingeniería práctica y robusta de la era del vapor. Su cuerpo metálico, de forma rectangular con base cilíndrica, está diseñado para resistir las condiciones exigentes del entorno ferroviario. En sus laterales, se conservan los cristales de señalización, uno transparente y otro rojo, utilizados para indicar maniobras o posiciones en la vía.

La parte superior cuenta con una asa sólida para su transporte, y orificios de ventilación que permitían disipar el calor generado por la llama original. En la parte trasera, se distingue claramente la *numeración de patente*, lo que añade valor documental y autenticidad a la pieza, vinculándola a su fabricante y época de producción.

Aunque originalmente funcionaba con combustible, este ejemplar ha sido *recableado recientemente*, lo que permite su uso con iluminación eléctrica sin alterar su estética original. Esta intervención lo convierte en un objeto funcional y decorativo, ideal para coleccionistas, museos o espacios temáticos que celebran la historia del transporte.
