Antique Wooden Clarinet – Besson & Co. London / Buffet Crampon Paris

Antique wooden clarinet (probably ebony or grenadilla), with silver-plated metal keys.

The bell bears the mark Besson & Co. London, while the barrel bears the inscription Buffet Crampon & Cie, Paris, two historic firms renowned for their wind instrument making.

The clarinet consists of two bodies, a barrel, and a mouthpiece.

Original vintage cleaning brush.
Additional accessories: metal ligature and reeds in a NOVAPAR plastic case.

Used, but in very good overall condition (patina, light scratches, metal wear). May require professional tuning/adjustment for proper playability. Excellent piece for both musical instrument collectors and musicians interested in restoring a historic clarinet.
