Description from the seller
Very decorative, but also functional, Odeon accordion. It is a small model with 25 piano keys and 12 bass buttons. The accordion is 34.5 cm wide, 34 cm high, and about 22 cm deep, weighing just over 3.5 kg. The finish is glossy black with attractive mottled green (turquoise-like) key colors.
The accordion dates from the 1960s or 1970s of the previous century, and still plays. There appear to be no defects in this accordion, except the shoulder strap on the left shoulder, which has come loose at one point from the mounting button (see photo). The leather straps may be replaced.
The Odeon accordion was made in Germany in Klingenthal. Klingenthal is a town in the German state of Saxony, and is part of the Vogtlandkreis. The town is located in the so-called 'Musikwinkel' in the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park and has long been known for the production of musical instruments. The place also has its own harmonica museum (Zwota).
Not only is this accordion still in good playable condition, it is also a very decorative instrument that is certainly a conversation piece.
The accordion has no case. It is carefully packed and insured for shipping.
