Two XXIO Prime 12 golf clubs, numbers 3 and 5, in near-new condition, featuring Rebound Frame, Super-TIX 51AF titanium face, tungsten-nickel weights, lightweight construction and Premium SP-1200 graphite shafts with shaft code 3321 for moderate swing speeds.
Description from the seller
The following “XXIO Prime 12” clubs #3 and #5 are offered for sale (for personal reasons):
Condition:
1) Grip: 9 out of 10
2) Shaft: 10 out of 10
3) Head: 10 out of 10 (no “Skymarks”)
4) Face: 9 out of 10 (normal ball marks)
The special features of the XXIO Prime 12 clubs are:
A) **Rebound Frame**: This technology ensures improved energy transfer when the ball is struck. It combines flexible and stiff zones in the clubhead to increase ball speed and maximize distance.
**Super-TIX 51AF Titanium Face**: The thin and flexible titanium face increases ball speed and enables more efficient energy transfer.
**Tungsten-Nickel Weights**: These weights lower the club’s center of gravity and increase the Moment of Inertia (MOI), resulting in a easier ball launch and more stability.
**Lightweight Construction**: The clubs are extremely light, which increases swing speed and provides an effortless feel.
**Premium-SP-1200 Graphite Shafts**: The shafts are made of high-performance carbon fibers and offer an optimal balance of strength and flexibility, contributing to a stable and precise ball contact.
B) The International Flex Code of the XXIO Prime 12 shaft is a four-digit code. It indicates the relative stiffness in four different zones of the shaft, from “grip end” to the “tip.”
The code 3-3-2-1 means that stiffness decreases from top to bottom as follows:
First digit (grip area): 3 – The shaft starts with a firm, mid-range stiffness for more control.
Second digit (upper shaft area): 3 – The area remains stable and mid-firm.
Third digit (lower/middle shaft area): 2 – The shaft becomes somewhat softer, easing the through-swing.
Fourth digit (shaft tip): 1 – The softest zone for a lively feel and more distance.
No standard flex: The code 3321 is not a direct substitute for terms like “Regular.”
The XXIO Prime 12 clubs are specifically aimed at golfers with moderate swing speeds who have slowed down a bit over time but still want more length and precision. They are ideal for players with a handicap around ~8 to 36.
Ernie Els has also been playing XXIO golf clubs for years and has been their Global Ambassador since 2018.
As the “Big Easy” with a relaxed swing, Els fits perfectly with the XXIO target group of golfers with moderate swing speed who want more distance without exertion. In 2024, for example, he used them to win the Principal Charity Classic.
The purchase price was €649.00 per club.
