Waterford Micro Cuvée Lómhar.
Irish Single Malt Whisky.
Bottle No.0595 of 1100.
Lómhar was born from Mark Reynier's (CEO) request to Ned (the head distiller) to create a whisky that would "warm you up for the winter". This Micro Cuvée is something of a playful experiment: Ned blended Lómhar mainly from from 10 distinct single-origin distillates , as well as the first organic spirit distilled from barley from 6 producers . In total, it is made up of 11 distinct Waterford whiskies brought together. Additionally, Ned discovered that there was still a small amount of the first vintage ( Pilgrimage ) and decided to add these last powerful drops to Lómhar. The maturation lasted 3 years, 5 months and 27 days. The whisky matures in a combination of 36% first-fill American oak casks, 25% premium French oak barriques, 21% natural sweet wine casks and 18% virgin American oak casks . This extremely Rare produced only 1,100 bottles.
