A wooden carving in which an apsara or celestial dancer is depicted, she is performing a dance step, executing a mudra with her hands. In her hair she wears two jewels representing the sun and the moon. Her legs are bare, and a veil winds around her torso, outlining her figure. Anklets, bracelets, earrings, and diadems accompany the jewels mentioned above.
