This is a later edition, printed using the original woodblocks.

Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) was a Japanese painter.
One of the most prominent printmakers of the Shinhanga movement, Kawase Hasui became famous both in Japan and abroad and is the best-known Japanese landscape painter of the 20th century.

Nearly all of his prints were destroyed in a major fire the year before his death.
He is a great artist who has been recognized as a Living National Treasure.

To prevent damage to this precious piece, it will be shipped worldwide in a sturdy tube with insurance.
