DOUBLE TROUBLE
Artist NOMEN Nuno Reis
Canvas without frame
155x100cm mounted on a frame
In memory of Nuno Reis, also known as 'Nomen'.
1974-2022.
NOMEN was a pioneer of the art of graffiti in Portugal since 1989, and unfortunately for the entire artistic community, he passed away in.
2022.
The art of Nomen was born in the street. He was a pioneer of graffiti in Portugal and a self-taught visual artist whose universe has solidified through a multiplicity of styles and registers since he began interacting with urban space in the 1990s, starting with early illegal incursions on trains and walls, and progressing to large-scale work developed in both exhibition and institutional settings.
All signed works by the artist are exclusively unique and special, as there will no longer be any signatures made by Nomen.
The fabric is superb and looks even better in person than in photos.
The canvases of NOMEN are said to number around 1,700.
The latest paintings on the artist's website are selling for over €11,000 despite having smaller dimensions.
This canvas is a bit atypical compared to what he usually created, and that's what makes it even more unique.
A genuine collector and an investment.
Artist present on Singulart, Artmajeur, Nomen store (official site), ...
The canvas will be sent rolled in the original tube.
