Description from the seller
Photo taken during the filming of the movie Help in 1964, in the inland countryside near London. A surreal war scene tied to the hippie imagery that opposed the conflict between the USA and Vietnam and the concept of war in general. The film was low-budget, and the actors had neither campers nor chairs nor other kinds of comfort. In the photo we see all four Beatles.
Limited edition.
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle cotton rag photo ultra smooth 305gsm paper. Matting 4 cm. Archival inks guaranteed for 150 years. Photograph with the artist's original stamp and signature.
Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a stills photographer from 1960 to the present. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to join the team of Luigi Pratulon's Press Office (then stills photographer for Federico Fellini's film La Dolce Vita). Subsequently he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their rise to fame. A master of photographic lighting, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.
