A fine Nabeshima porcelain plate from the late Edo period (c. 1800–1850), decorated in underglaze blue with the auspicious pine, bamboo, and plum (Shochikubai) motif.
This large dish, with a diameter of approx. 33 cm and height 9.6 cm, rests on a tall foot typical of Nabeshima ware.

Such plates were not for daily use but for formal display, showcasing the refined artistry of the Nabeshima kilns in Saga, Japan.

Condition:
Good – with a professional repair at the rim, minor wear and stains consistent with age. Please refer to the photos for details.
