In this series of works, the painter Cobra gradually moves towards figuration. Some abstract elements still resist. However, the vegetal, mineral, and human elements blend into a creative energy celebrating life and the harmony of being with nature, which led poet and art critic André Laude to describe Corneille as an 'ecological painter' avant la lettre.
