The Laque de Chine panels maintain a deep, uniform shine, showcasing the characteristic reddish amber effect of the traditional finish. The surface displays a visible scratch on the upper front panel, correctly photographed, along with micro-surface marks typical of the piece's use and age. These signs do not affect the structural integrity or the overall appeal of the lighter at all.

The gold bathroom on edges, hinges, and push button is well preserved, with slight wear in areas of natural contact. The edges retain their definition, and no dents, dings, or deformations are observed on the body.

The lid opens and closes with a firm, aligned, and smooth movement, with the characteristic metallic “cling” of authentic Dupont products.
