Description of the Set
The set consists of at least three pieces.
Table Mirror
Features a tilt mirror with a metal frame.
The base is a very characteristic element: it consists of a column and a circular base, made of stone (alabaster) in light and pink tones.
The pink base features a hand-painted floral decoration, typically roses, which was very popular at that time.
The base rests on small metal feet shaped like paws, which add an ornamental and elegant touch.
Two brushes
Hair and/or clothing brushes with embossed and finely crafted metal backs.
The metal (silver-plated or another silvered metal such as alpaca or pewter) features a rich bas-relief decoration with floral and phytomorphic motifs (leaves, scrolls), in line with the Art Nouveau or Late Victorian style.
