Suggestive charcoal portrait created by the artist U. Galli in 1935, signed and dated at the bottom right with the indication of the place of execution, Civitavecchia. The work depicts a young Eritrean woman, captured with psychological intensity and tonal finesse that recall the great masters of portraiture from the first half of the twentieth century, from Antonio Mancini to Vittorio Matteo Corcos, up to the more international influences of John Singer Sargent and Anders Zorn.
