The original book, in the format of a sketchbook designed by the artist, represents a hermeneutic by Beuys on Leonardo's "codices" discovered in Madrid in 1965. Interesting, like everything in Beuys, for its energetic line and transcendent pulse: a delight for the observer who recognizes the virtues of the Dusseldorf genius.

The corresponding book is included without the chromolithographs that illustrated it (sold separately), with the original texts (quotes by Leonardo Da Vinci and introduction by Götz Adriani). justification of the roll. Our copy, one of the 10 author's proofs of the 100 corresponding books of the 900 total of this edition (9 lithographs were used for the print run, one for every hundred books).
