TASTING NOTES:
The luminous sweetness of tropical fruit (green mango, melon, pineapple) shines instantly. It then yields to more tempered notes, the tingle of orange zest, the mist of a mandarin. The wine breathes, revealing its freshness. The flower after the rain. A tactile sensation of peony, jasmine, and lilac.
The wine immediately imposes its broad, full, and massive presence. A delicate sensation dominates, as the tactile is quickly overtaken by the aromatic. The body unfolds generously, firm, and controlled. It then contracts, allowing the wine to vibrate with spices and pepper.
The energy continues until a sparkling saline finish.

The Maison only offers great vintages of champagne. Dom Pérignon Vintage is made exclusively from the finest grapes from a single year, reinventing itself by interpreting the unique character of the seasons and daring not to produce a Vintage if the harvest doesn't meet high expectations. After a minimum of eight years of aging in the winery, the wine achieves the perfect balance that Dom Pérignon represents, its greatest promise. This is Dom Pérignon Vintage: the fullness of harmony.
The temperatures we encountered in September, more typical of summer, dried out the incipient botrytis that was attacking the vines and caused the grapes to ripen more than usual, definitively boosting the vintage.
