Description from the seller

Winter has frozen this place, but the black crosses continue to watch over it.
On the snow-covered floor of this abandoned pool, the swimming lanes become graves, as if each lane told a disappearance. The silence is total. The diving board, suspended above the void, seems to await a jump that will never come.
Nature has reclaimed the place; the dead leaves rest where water once flowed. Water Crossings is a meditation on time, memory, and forgotten spaces.

Words of the artist

I still seek to capture the moment when a place no longer serves any purpose... but still tells everything.
In this abandoned swimming pool, the snow has drawn a nearly sacred scene. It is no longer a place for sport; it is an altar.
These crosses struck me. They weren't there for that, but they say everything. I simply waited for the right silence, and I photographed it.
That's my work: to catch the sacred in the mundane…
