Description from the seller
This Montblanc 32 fountain pen, equipped with a piston filling system, is presented in very good overall condition, retaining the classic aesthetic and manufacturing quality that distinguish the Montblanc 3x series.
The body and the cap, made of glossy black resin, maintain a uniform and deep finish, showing only micro surface scratches typical of moderate use. No cracks, deformations, or structural damages are observed. The Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap is well preserved, with slight signs of aging but without detachment.
The gold-plated metal details — clip and ring of the cap — show signs of wear and small marks, especially in the areas of friction, which is consistent with the age of the piece. Still, they maintain their shape and proper function, with the clip firm and without looseness.
The 14K (585) gold nib is in excellent condition, with clear engravings and no visible deformations. The tip shows proper preservation, indicating careful use. The feed is clean, with no appreciable residues, and well adjusted.
The piston loading system shows a clear translucent blue ink window, indicating good maintenance. Visually, the mechanism appears intact and operational, with no excess dried ink residues or signs of corrosion.
The pen comes with its Montblanc vintage box, which retains its structure, with natural wear from the passage of time inside, but fully functional for storage or display.
Overall, this Montblanc 32 is a very well-preserved vintage example, ideal for both daily use and collection. Its mechanical reliability, gold nib, and elegant classic design make it a piece of great historical and aesthetic value.
