Giandomenico Veneziani was born in Bisceglie, a seaside town in Puglia. He graduated in Marketing at the University of Bari. His journey began as a self-taught photographer, approaching photography from a young age. Over time, he learned different techniques and the infinite possibilities of artistic creation. Photographic experimentation finds broad expression during his travels in Europe, Asia, and South America. In 2019, he created a personal photographic project entitled “El Camino – Faces and Places Around Sacred Valley” set in Peru. He is inspired by people, their stories, faces, and emotions. For him, photography represents an important means to share feelings and stories of the subjects photographed. He loves to draw inspiration primarily from music, painting, books, and films. To enrich his knowledge, he studies with passion and attention the most important photographers who have shaped the history of photography, approaching the great masters of fashion photography. In this field, he tries to create unique and unconventional shots, giving his works a cinematic vision, aiming to create surreal and dreamlike atmospheres. Over the past few years, he has achieved significant results in international competitions such as 35Awards, The Independent Photographer, LensCulture, AllAboutPhoto, PX3, IPA, TIFA, BIFA, Monochrome Awards, and reFocus Awards. This year, he represented Italy as a national judge in the final phase of the 35Awards competition. He also boasts numerous publications in fashion magazines such as GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Iconic Artist, Lewis Magazine, Kaltblut, Nasty Magazine, Flanelle, and Rebel. He publishes several photographic works on PhotoVogue. Over the last four years, he has exhibited his works in art galleries in New York, Paris, London, Milan, and Venice.
