This elegant Sheaffer Balance Junior No. 275, presented in its distinctive Green Striated celluloid, is in very good overall condition, especially considering its age of over 80 years. The body and cap retain an intense and well-preserved color, with a green pearlescent pattern that maintains depth and shine. The celluloid shows only slight signs of handling typical of vintage pieces, with no cracks, fractures, or deformations.

The nickel-chrome finishes — clip, central ring, and loading lever — retain their original shape and show superficial wear typical of use, but without compromising their solidity or function. The engraving on the barrel, 'W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co., Fort Madison, Iowa, U.S.A., Patented in U.S.A.,' remains perfectly legible.

The pen maintains its lever-fill mechanism in proper working order, with good tension and no looseness, allowing for efficient ink loading.
