Lot of 15 Japanese double-leaf sheets with xylography from the Edo/Meiji era (circa 1750–1880), on fine washi paper, each measuring about 24 × 16 cm with text in vertical kanji/kana and detailed illustrated scenes.

Set of 1 Japanese double sheet – Xylographs – Edo/Meiji period (c. 1750–1890)
30 pages – Washi paper – Genre scenes, samurai, bijin-ga, landscapes.
Superb collection of 16 double-page illustrated Japanese booklets, originating from various ehon (illustrated books) from the Edo period or early Meiji (circa 1750–1890).
Each leaf is printed using xylography (wood engraving) on Japanese washi paper, with a blend of vertical text (kanji + kana) and finely illustrated scenes.

Samurai and warriors.
Travelers, learned individuals, outdoor scenes.
Traditional landscapes (mountains, rice fields, river, moon).
Educational or moral scenes
