Matthieu van Riel - Dutch Clouds, Coast

Ready to hang. A frame is not needed. The painting with stretcherframe will be carefully packaged in a plastic bag and foam between 4 mm mdf wooden sheets to protect the painting, and shipped in a cardboard box.

I like walking in nature, along flower- and tulipfields, along the North Sea coast and the Atlantic Ocean, in polders, heathlands and forests in the Netherlands, The Alps, The Pyrenees and rugged mountainous regions in Scandinavia.
Nature is in my mind. That is why many of my paintings are about nature, about landscape.

Unfortunately, in some images you can see the moiré effect, the wavy lines on the image. The moiré effect is caused by photographing the cotton I paint on, its structure. If you zoom in, the effect is usually gone. Information about the moiré effect can be found on the internet.
