Caperdonich 25 years old Peated - Small Batch Release no. CP/003 - 700ml

A Vanished Distillery: Caperdonich distillery, on the banks of the River Spey, IS NO MORE. A building opened in 1898 and taken down, brick by brick, in 2002.
This single malt is all that remains of the whisky from the ‘SECRET WELL’. This is the one and only available batch.
Once gone, there will never be another.

Tasting Notes
Matured in oak hogsheads, this smoky and fruity malt engulfs the senses: rich notes of peat smoke are brilliantly balanced by green apple and sweet pear, with bonfire aromas and a hint of salt leading into a long and smooth finish.
