Series Landscapes

Always attracted by window mannequins, which seem to question him, he began photographing them in 1994. Nearly 10,000 photos later, he has been presenting his work on his website since 2006 and has held around one exhibition per month since 2007.

For these "Girls In Town" photos taken without superimposition, "he seeks to pierce the mystery and the soul of these beautiful lonely women, who like a mirror of our own lives, send us back the image of what we are... The ideal physique of these idyllic women symbolizes the dream and the luxury of an illusory world more than perfect...".

Beyond, his universe revolves around reflections, of reflected reality, like another mirror world of reality. His materials are glass, water, plastic, chrome, mirrors, and light. He develops series of photos around these themes. He photographs cities, animals, shadows, people, nature…

Recently approached by collectible Japanese dolls "Pullips" and Japanese Angels "Sonny Angels," David Law finds inspiration to extend his gaze on these unique models, staged in the streets of Paris or elsewhere... Alive!
