Description from the seller

The Pink Floyd – Arnold Layne / Candy And A Currant Bun
Extremely Rare US Promo Single (1967) – Tower 333 – Mono Mix, Rainbo Pressing

Item Description & Historical Significance
This is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after US promotional (Promo) single, Tower #333, of Pink Floyd's legendary debut, "Arnold Layne." This single marks the band's first official release and is a cornerstone of Psychedelic Rock, written entirely by founder Syd Barrett.
The US release on Tower Records is rare because the band had not yet established a presence in the American market. This specific pressing is the Promo version, identifiable by its white label, pressed in 1967. This makes it one of the scarce original variations of the record worldwide.

Pressing Details
• Rarity: An extremely hard-to-find Promo single with white labels, intended solely for radio station airplay.
• Pressing Plant: Pressed by Rainbo Records, confirmed by the etched R-953 / R-954 numbers in the runout groove, a detail highly valued by serious collectors.
• Audio Mix: This features the original Mono mix, which provides the authentic, raw psychedelic sound intended for the AM radio market of the era.
• B-Side: Includes the equally important track, "Candy And A Currant Bun."
Condition Note & Sleeve Information
• Vinyl: EX
• Sleeve: The vinyl comes housed in a High-Quality Reproduction Picture Sleeve. This sleeve features the iconic text: "The light kings of England Roger, Nick, Syd, Rick The Pink Floyd their latest smash Arnold Layne."
• IMPORTANT: The record itself is the original and extremely rare 1967 US Promo. The picture sleeve provided is a modern reproduction for display purposes and is not the original 1967 sleeve.
