Alexander Vogels, Hellend Vlak, oil on canvas, 2002, 120 x 150 cm, hand-signed.
Description from the seller
Beautiful large painting of birds. It is oil on canvas and in good condition.
During his youth in Australia, Alexander Vogels (Heerlen, 1952) came into contact with primitive cultures. He was inspired by the Aboriginals, followed by peoples in North Africa and Native Americans in North America. In his work, the artist reflects this through an original and positive approach. Alexander Vogels, who learned to paint at the City Academy in Maastricht, is a lyrically abstract painter. For him, figuration is not an end but a support for the color composition.
