Contemporary abstract painter I am a contemporary abstract artist living and working in Italy. I develop my work through painting series and distinct projects, all with a concept always linked to the natural dimension: elements, cycles, metamorphosis, inner gardens, and flowers as a metaphor for the female condition. All the works I present on Catawiki are unique pieces painted by hand: the surfaces are dynamic, textured, and thick. You can perceive the movement and the constant energy of each brushstroke applied to the surface. My technique is based on layering acrylic colors, sometimes combined with oil. Alongside this structured approach, I incorporate a more free dimension: using pours, fluid gestures, dripping technique, brushwork, but especially various-sized spatulas. This allows me to avoid rigid shapes and leave space for chance and imperfection. It is in this fusion of the study of color and expressive freedom that my visual language comes to life. Some of the main series Les Fleurs and Flora's Garden, abstract and vibrant flowers, celebrate the fragility and strength of existence. Drips and textures make these subjects suspended, poetic, in continuous metamorphosis. In these works, influences from art history are evident: from Monet's inner garden, and for LES FLEURS, the forms, sometimes sensual, evoke the organic femininity of Georgia O’Keeffe's flowers. In 'BLUE MIND,' the element water is the protagonist: from the depths of the sea to the transparent blue of the surfaces, the artist evokes the regenerative and contemplative power of blue. It is an emotional, meditative immersion, almost sacred. The series 'Il GIARDINO DI HANAKO' is inspired by a Zen legend, where the garden becomes a symbol of inner transformation. Bright colors, fluid shapes, and suspended atmospheres evoke a mental space between dream and reality, with references to Japanese painting and Bosch's imagery. In 2025, the 'Starry Night' series is born, where deep blues and golden contrasts depict the sky as both a cosmic and inner space. Golden sparks dance on night backgrounds, evoking dreams, movement, and a powerful spiritual energy.
