We present the Marlen Collection of Ancient Italian Cities: Rome
Marlen dedicates this collection to Rome, a city that does not hide its years but carries them very well: after all, Rome is the Eternal City. Walking through the streets of Rome means strolling through History with a capital H. Among the most loved tourist destinations in the world, it allows and almost imposes continuous discoveries, thanks to the immensity of its artistic heritage. In fact, it hosts two capitals in one city: the Italian one and the seat of the Pope in Vatican City, a universal pilgrimage destination in St. Peter's Square. The beauty of Rome and its 3,000 years of history is that it always knows how to surprise, even with unusual places still waiting to be explored.
The Rome collection features a specially designed clip that replicates the splendor of ancient marble columns. The cap and the barrel of these writing instruments are handcrafted in blue Italian resin, turned from solid bar. The large ring on the barrel depicts a panoramic view of the Colosseum and the Capitoline Wolf (a bronze sculpture of uncertain date, housed in the Capitoline Museums), a symbol of the city.
