Description from the seller

A Japanese four-panel screen painted on paper, depicting an elegant hanaguruma (flower cart) overflowing with peonies, wisteria, chrysanthemums, and plum blossoms on a simulated gold-leaf background.

Signed and sealed in the lower right corner.

Byōbu (屏風), literally “wind protection screens,” are traditional Japanese folding screens originally created to divide spaces and today appreciated above all as striking wall-mounted paintings.

--- The byobu is in very good condition, with minor wear consistent with age. One of the corner protectors on the lacquer frame is damaged. Please refer to the pictures for further details.

The item will be carefully packed and shipped via DHL or FedEx, accompanied by the original certificate of authenticity issued by Mastromauro Japanese art gallery based in Milan, Italy.
