A silk-on-silk table runner, made in Japan in the late 20th century, sized about 100 cm by 31 cm, with gold, green and blue tones, repurposed from a vintage Japanese Fukuro Obi into a landscape of thatched-roof houses amidst mountains, unused after the remake and in very good condition with storage creases and fringe not necessarily silk.
Description from the seller
Silk Table Runner Repurposed from Vintage Japanese Fukuro Obi – Thatched-Roof Village & Mountain Landscape in Gold Brocade
Item Description:
This elegant table runner is a sophisticated remade piece crafted from a vintage Japanese fukuro obi (formal double-layered sash) made of pure silk. Featuring a serene and refined landscape design, it depicts traditional thatched-roof houses nestled among trees and rolling mountains, delicately woven with gold and pastel threads. The shimmering golden base color adds an air of luxury, while the intricately embroidered scenery conveys a sense of timeless beauty and tranquility.
The runner has been carefully repurposed and remains unused after the remake. It does not include any inner padding, allowing it to drape gracefully on any surface.

It's unused and in excellent storage condition. There are no signs of fading or tears.
There are crease marks due to being folded for storage.
Some parts, such as the fringe, may not be silk.
