Description from the seller

Born in Paris in 1938, Pierre Techtverokoff, a highly regarded artist, grew up between Montparnasse and Saint-Germain, where he admired the work of geometric artists such as Sempere, Agam, and Soto. His interest in painting originated in Cubism, which consists of "destroying the model in order to reconstruct it." Inspired by Cézanne, Braque, Picasso, and Malevich, and later by the entire Bauhaus movement, his primary painter is Mondrian. His painting arises from the integration of spatial and light considerations with the possibilities of non-figurative art, eliminating emphatic forms and moving towards geometry, in a constant interplay between the real and the unreal, between the painted and the unpainted. He has exhibited extensively in France, Spain, England, Belgium, the United States, and Japan, notably in his adopted city of Sitges.
The creation was presented in a black American box for an elegant display of the subject.
Work in perfect condition.
