Frits Van Eeden (1944-2022) - Twins

Frits van Eeden (Tilburg, 1944 – The Hague, 2022) grew up in The Hague. He completed his professional training in The Hague and Amsterdam. After working in London for three years, he moved to the United States, and following a 'Best of Show' award, he was offered a part-time position at the Brevard Art Centre and Museum in Melbourne, Florida. The first prize was a solo exhibition at the museum and a teaching position at the academy. He became a working member of Pulchri Studio in 1966, the Hague artists' association. Through sculpture, his painting also gained a three-dimensional influence and is very distinctly recognizable. His works have been exhibited at many domestic and international exhibitions.
