Biography of Tùng Lam
Tùng Lam: A Vietnamese artist painter of the new generation
Tùng Lam is a Vietnamese painter born in 1993 in the city of Hải Dương, located near Hanoi (not Lyon, as previously mentioned). He is part of the new wave of Vietnamese creators shaping the country's contemporary art.
Hailing from Hải Dương province, Tùng Lâm grew up in an environment that sensitized him early on to the rich culture and landscapes of northern Vietnam. He developed a passion for drawing and color, which led him to pursue the visual arts. He refined his craft, immersing himself in the study of traditional Vietnamese techniques while exploring contemporary artistic currents.
Artistic Career
As a painter, Tùng Lâm is committed to translating onto canvas a personal and poetic vision of modern Vietnam.
Belonging to a generation born after the country's major transformations, Tùng Lâm brings a fresh and dynamic perspective on Vietnamese identity. Through his work, he contributes to enriching the contemporary art scene in Hanoi and Vietnam, bridging past aesthetic heritages with the concerns of the modern world.
