Luis Oliveto, Meliora 'NO Reserve', oil on canvas on stretcher, original edition, 2025, 50 × 60 cm, Argentina, abstract, unsigned, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Series 'Collectio' 2025
The works feature the starred dodecahedron as the protagonist, a 'perfect' geometric figure that takes center stage. Geometry is a language that implies perfection. Its mathematical ideal presents an intangible concept. Any representation made of it cannot maintain that ideality.
Perfection, in reality, is an illusion.
And in that illusion, the figures rest and remain, a metaphor for ourselves, our surroundings, and our own pursuit of perfection.
"Meliora" places the piece at the center, with the light and atmosphere around it, seeking the best of itself.
Oil on canvas in stretcher, signed and dated on the back.
The work will be sent properly packaged to ensure maximum safety during its transport.
Signed by Luis Oliveto, Argentine-born artist, holding a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the National University of the Arts, Argentina.
