Description from the seller
Aki Narita (born in 1966) is a famous Japanese painter. She found her style in Manga and street art. Her exhibitions are successful all over the world; very few works are available on the market.
This is an original painting (mixed media: ink, painting, and pencil) titled: Rabbit of the Moon, created between 2010 and 2020.
She demonstrates her great mastery of her art; the painting is on paper, with a thick mat bordered with a dark-green card, all framed in a wood frame with silver laque with an aged patina.
Narita hand-signed it with a pencil and put her stamp.
At the back, a tape of the framer and another with the gallery stamp.
The frame is 40 x 41 cm, the painting is 27 x 19.5 cm (excellent condition).
The work is under glass (acrylic).
Includes the card provided by the gallery (very good condition, with a scratch on one edge, photo included).
You will note the gallery invoice of the previous owner who bought it at a famous gallery in Tokyo (Shinobazu Gallery), with the title, the author, the price (about €4000), and the date May 19th, 2023. (It's a copy he sent me; I do not have the original invoice).
I have uploaded another of Narita's works so we can be sure of the authenticity of the signing and the stamp. (It's for comparison; it's not in the auction.)
Great and rare work
