Description from the seller
Patty Pravo (1966)
Considered one of the most iconic figures in Italian music in the second half of the twentieth century, Patty Pravo has effortlessly spanned decades of music, constantly reinventing her style and image. From her beginnings as a beat artist, she established herself as a refined interpreter of Italian and French singer-songwriter music, and boldly experimented with the sounds of pop rock in all its nuances. Biafra (1976), one of her most innovative works, was among the first Italian albums to include funky and new wave influences. Some of her most famous songs include La bambola (1968), Pazza idea (1973), Pensiero stupendo (1978), and ...e dimmi che non vuoi morire (1997), true classics of Italian music. She participated ten times in the Sanremo Festival, reaching the final nine times and winning four Critics' Awards, the last of which was in 2016 with Cieli immensi.
