AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This Dr Drip piece draws on mechanical methods reminiscent of artists such as Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama, while keeping an eye on Pollock.
The composition balances intention and chance, combining colorful spots with spontaneous splashes to create a dynamic, playful visual field.
The result is a tableau that invites close looking and discovery.

The spots extend across the entire canvas, wrapping around the edges so they remain visible when the work is stretched over a frame.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT BUYING ART

When you buy a piece of art, you're investing in hundreds of hours of experimentation, joy, and frustration. You're supporting an individual artist who has been overlooked by the mainstream market.

Buying art on this platform is a revolutionary act. It directly supports the underground scene and helps sustain creative work that might otherwise go unnoticed. Please support any artist on this platform with joy; generosity is circular, and we all benefit from it.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Formerly a graffiti and street artist, Dr. Drip seamlessly integrates his ‘street knowledge’ into these elegant and stylish creations.

Dr. Drip, an alter ego used to conceal the artist’s true identity, exclusively presents this series on this platform, ensuring that these works cannot be found elsewhere.

ABOUT THE SHIPPING

The painting is securely shipped in a rigid tube (frame not included) and comes with a signed letter from Dr Drip, providing a personal connection to the artist’s vision.

Great care is taken in the packaging, using high-quality materials. Shipping is always insured, reflecting a slightly higher cost than average, but one that ensures reliability and safety.

Combined Shipping Policy

Works on canvas and works on paper are shipped using different packaging and cannot be combined in one shipment.
However, if you purchase multiple works of the same type (either all canvases or all works on paper), I will reimburse any extra shipping costs charged by Catawiki.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.

P.S. Two small cuts have been repaired with canvas patches on the back, as shown in the photos. These minor repairs do not affect the integrity of the canvas and are not visible from the front.
