Description from the seller

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The Damien Drips series by Dr Drip draws inspiration from the mechanical methods of Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama. Thick spots of color interact and engage in a poetic dialogue, dissolving boundaries and creating a dynamic play of contrasts and harmonies.

Circles cut from food packaging consumed by Dr Drip add a touch of fun and serve as a memory of the artist's time in the studio.

This piece invites you to explore Dr Drip’s unique creativity, leaving a lasting impression—whether as a centerpiece or a valued addition to your collection.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT BUYING ART

When you buy a piece of art, you're investing in hundreds of hours of experimentation, joy, and frustration. You're supporting an individual artist who has been overlooked by the mainstream market.

Buying art on this platform is a revolutionary act. It directly supports the underground scene and helps sustain creative work that might otherwise go unnoticed. Please support any artist on this platform with joy; generosity is circular, and we all benefit from it.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Formerly a graffiti and street artist, Dr Drip seamlessly integrates his ‘street knowledge’ into these elegant and stylish creations.

Dr Drip, an alter ego used to conceal the artist’s true identity, exclusively presents this series on this platform, ensuring that these works cannot be found elsewhere.
