Description from the seller
Limited Edition of 20
Delivery Time approximately 30 days
LITO Editions is proud to introduce an exclusive release in partnership with Artcurial of a new artwork by American artist Peter Halley, during Art Basel Paris. This unique and exciting limited edition offers the physicality and the tactile experience of the artist’s iconic texture, the Roll-A-Tex, as well as the experience of his vibrating fluorescent color.
“Yellow Cell”, is the result of a meticulous experimentation with new technologies and craftsmanship. This edition has been conceived through a mechanical process – to create the texture and relief of the work – as well as a manual process, utilizing pigment and paint commonly used in Peter Halley’s paintings.
This edition completes a new breed of limited editions created by LITO Editions in close collaboration with contemporary artists. A new hybrid art form that is both serial and unique.

Founded in 2022, LITO is a forward-thinking printmaking company on a mission to widen access to art through new, pioneering technologies.
Based in Bregenz, Austria, LITO and the LITO Technology Lab have developed state-of-the-art and patented technology to create prints with extreme precision and of unparalleled quality. Using its Hi-Rnd proprietary technology, LITO prints textures, colours and certain effects on paintings, such as reliefs and gloss or wax brushstrokes at multiple scales, to create and recreate original artworks.
LITO Editions commissions leading contemporary artists to imagine original artworks, which are then rendered and developed to limited editions at the LITO Technology Lab.
Created in close collaboration with the artist, each edition is personally hand-signed and numbered by the artist and reflects both the artist’s vision and the expertise of LITO’s engineering team. To date, LITO has collaborated with Douglas Gordon, Erwin Wurm, Wang Guangle, Jia Aili, Alexandre Arrechea, Collin Sekajugo and Peter Halley.
