Many of his works were collected by the British Museum, the Stockholm Print Collection of the National Museum, and the Albertina Museum in Vienna.

Paunzen was an extraordinary Symbolist artist, a printmaker of several musical cycles and compositions (Beethoven and Mahler) and literary works (Dostoevsky).

Many of his works are held in the British Museum, the Stockholm Print Collection of the National Museum, and the Albertina Museum in Vienna, among others.
