Montblanc Meisterstück 144 fountain pen with a black resin body and gold‑plated accents, 18k nib, made in Germany in the mid‑20th century, in good used condition and in working order with minor wear under the nib ring.
Description from the seller
This Montblanc Meisterstück 144 is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining the classic and timeless aesthetic of the Meisterstück series. The body and cap, made of precious black resin, retain a deep and uniform shine, with minimal signs of use typical of a well-cared-for piece.
The gold embellishments, including the clip and rings, retain an attractive and clean gold finish. However, it is important to note that the ring located just below the nib shows visible wear, typical of use and the passage of time. This detail does not affect the structural integrity of the piece or its functionality, but should be considered part of its aesthetic condition.
The 18-karat nib, delicately engraved and well-defined, is in excellent visual condition. The feed shows normal signs of use, with no deformations or damage. The pen has been inspected and functions properly, offering a steady flow and smooth writing.
The Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap remains intact, with no deterioration or discoloration.
Overall, this Montblanc 144 is a fully functional and well-preserved fountain pen, with the only notable observation being localized wear on the ring near the nib, a characteristic that does not compromise its operability. An ideal piece for both frequent use and collection.
