Montblanc - pix - No reserve price - Pen

This is a rare and highly collectible Montblanc Pix mechanical pencil, crafted from silver and dating from 1935–1955. According to an expert, this model is rarer than both the rolled gold and solid gold versions, and it does not bear a model number—unlike the Montblanc 772.
Provenance:
The pencil was originally a gift his son, who was a director in Germany, to my great-grandfather, a foreman in the Amsterdam harbor. It remained in the family and was rediscovered among a collection of writing instruments when I recently cleaned my desk.
Condition & Authenticity:
The pencil shows honest signs of age, consistent with its era, and has been carefully preserved.
