Description from the seller
The lighter is presented in good overall condition, with the elegant aesthetic typical of S.T. Dupont and a very attractive two-tone design: body in brushed silver finish and details in gold tone. Functionally, it lights correctly (a stable flame is visible in the photographs), indicating an operational mechanism.
In terms of aesthetics, it shows normal signs of use consistent with its age: micro-scratches and small surface marks visible mainly on the brushed faces (typical of rubbing), as well as slight touches/wear on edges and corners, where the finish shows the passage of time. The lines, joints, and hinges appear well seated, and the overall fit maintains a solid presence.
Highlight the detail of the lateral cabochon (black stone/insert), which adds character and is clearly visible to the naked eye. The base retains engravings/inscriptions, although with the patina typical of use.
Observations: ideal piece for collection or elegant use; the condition is honest and well preserved, with cosmetic marks typical of a vintage lighter.
Shipping note: it will be sent in a courtesy box to prevent bumps and scratches during transport.
Good auction!
