Alejandro Gonzalez presents Arquitecturas del Ascenso 41 - XL - (NO RESERVE), a unique original acrylic painting on canvas (100 x 70 x 2.5 cm) from 2025, signed by hand and depicting architecture in a contemporary style.
Description from the seller
"Architectures of Ascent" is a series of paintings that explores the staircase as a structural, graphic, and symbolic axis within abstract architectures. Each work is a visual construction where architectural logic conforms to the rules of pictorial geometry: overlapping planes, precise cuts, defined contours, and carefully designed color palettes.
In this series, the staircase ceases to be a simple functional element and becomes a protagonist. It not only articulates spaces but also defines rhythms, hierarchies, and visual paths. Some appear as three-dimensional objects within a built environment; others, as graphic signs floating on impossible planes, breaking traditional spatial logic.
The "ascent" is not only a physical direction, but an idea: a visual impulse toward the high, the deep, or the symbolically inaccessible. The compositions invite a mental journey through structures that are not inhabited, but contemplated; fictional architectures that exist only on the pictorial plane.
Single artwork measuring 100 x 70 x 2.5 cm.
