The Senator Kolbenfüller President is an impressive XL-format fountain pen, comparable to the Montblanc Meisterstück 149. The body is made of deep black glossy resin. A distinctly widened gold-colored decorative band at the lower part of the cap features an embossed model inscription ('SENATOR PRESIDENT').
The nib is a 14K gold-plated iridium point steel nib.
