This is a brand-new, unused Aizu lacquerware suzuribako (inkstone writing box), crafted by the renowned workshop Shirakiya. The refined black lacquer surface is adorned with exquisite maki-e created by the skilled artist Kazue Nitta. It is a superb and highly prestigious piece of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
