Wine Description: Clos Trimoulet 1973 is a red Bordeaux wine from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. It has a beautiful, brilliant ruby ​​color. The nose offers aromas of very ripe blackcurrant and blueberry, along with licorice, sweet spices, a touch of undergrowth, cocoa, and a hint of game. On the palate, it is full-bodied and round with a pronounced oak influence followed by notes of cocoa and spice. Elegant and powerful, the tannins are fine and silky, leading to a long and beautiful finish. Aged in oak barrels for 14 months, the grape varieties are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
