Ernest Hemingway was undoubtedly one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. In works such as "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "The Old Man and the Sea," Hemingway distinguished himself for his expressive verbal ability and the density of his narratives. The coral red and dark brown of the Ernest Hemingway MB Writers Edition recall a Montblanc pen from the 1930s, the decade in which Hemingway first received critical acclaim. The cap, with its gold-plated finishes and classic clip, bears the engraved signature of the writer.

Released in 1992 with 20,000 copies given as a gift to the namesake writer.
