This large edition character pays tribute to one of the most revolutionary and influential figures in jazz history – Miles Dewey Davis. Besides being an exceptional trumpeter, he was a pioneer in virtually all phases of jazz evolution in the United States during the post-war period, from cool jazz to rock, funk, and jazz fusion. His induction into the Rock 'N Roll Walk of Fame was therefore a natural choice. The limited edition shape of 1926 represents a trumpet, enhanced with pimples on the clip. The original tank engraving is inspired by the major phases of jazz evolution in the United States during the post-war period, influenced by Miles Davis. The blue tip evokes 'kind of blue,' the greatest jazz album of all time. The shape of the tip is inspired by the special 'Heim' mouthpiece he used. The pen is engraved with the silhouette, and the limited number of parts represents your birth year.
