Description from the seller
This Parker 51 fountain pen, recognized as one of the most iconic models of the 20th century, is presented in an outstanding condition, ideal for both collection and demanding everyday use.
The cap maintains its original finish in 1/10 12K gold plating, with a uniform shine and well-defined vertical lines. The engraving '1/10 12ct R. Gold' remains fully legible. The arrow clip — Parker's distinctive symbol — remains firmly attached, aligned, and shows no signs of deformation. The upper jewel displays a clean finish, with no visible dents or dings.
The body in black resin features a smooth, deep, and glossy surface, free of noticeable scratches, microcracks, or discoloration. The central ring maintains its integrity and metallic shine without oxidation.
The hooded tip characteristic of the model exhibits excellent alignment and no irregular wear. No damage is observed in the section nor any embedded ink residues. The feeder shows moderate use, consistent with a vintage piece, but without significant residues.
The pressure closure works with the correct firmness, providing security during transport.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
